Chiral hydrodynamics in strong external magnetic fields

We construct the general hydrodynamic description of (3+1)-dimensional chiral charged (quantum) fluids subject to a strong external magnetic field with effective theory methods. determine constitutive equations for energy-momentum tensor and axial charge current, in part from generating functional. Furthermore, we derive Kubo formulas which relate two-point functions current 27 transport coefficients: 8 independent thermodynamic, 4 non-dissipative hydrodynamic, 10 dissipative coefficients. Five Onsager relations render 5 more coefficients dependent. uncover four novel effects, are encoded what call shear-induced conductivity, two expansion-induced longitudinal conductivities Hall conductivity. Remarkably, conductivity constitutes effect. As demonstration, compute all explicitly strongly coupled quantum fluid via holography.
